Town Square Partners believes that investing in and bringing HOPE to the next generation is paramount to transforming our communities.
MENTORING
We have established a student mentoring initiative in which high school students from Highlander Charter School in Warren, RI serve as mentors and role models for youngsters at Baldwin Elementary School in Pawtucket, RI. This provides an enriching opportunity for children to engage with students from their neighborhoods and socio-economic circumstances, recognize the possibilities for their own future, and strive to excel in their education.
Currently in development is EMERGE, a mentoring program designed for youth in the foster care system (16+ year olds). Our goal is to develop effective mentoring relationships to support, encourage, and guide youth nearing aging out of foster care. We are developing a community living program to capture these young adults and help launch them into adulthood well. Stay tuned to development updates.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
We care deeply about our community and helping to provide healthy, safe experiences for children. In 2018, we launched an exciting initiative to meet the needs of a local community and strengthen engagement and character development in its school-aged population.
